We are looking for a home & pet sitter for our rescue animals. The house is small with just one double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen although we have a seperate lounge and library next door plus a small gym and plunge pool- which may or may not be functioning for November sadly (we have ordered a pool heater but may not be installed in time!). All our 10 dogs are loving but need an experienced handler as they have have all been badly abused, so not suitable for families with children. All utilities will be paid and we have plenty of wood as it can be cool in the day and gets to below zero Centigrade at nights. So wrap up but expect sun.
Tasks will take max an hour a day to prepare food, feed, water and collect excrement plus any extra cuddling, playing and dog walking on leads you can do-so plenty of time to go out and about. The dogs have plenty of safe space to run in and love to bark at passers by (only about 3-6 times a day as we are at end of village) so you should get lots peace and quite still. They love to sit out in the garden with you though whilst you read or internet (we have limited internet sadly-enough for s and browsing but not streaming).
The village is very green and peaceful and served by a shop, cafe and a post office. Most locals only speak Bulgarian but we have translators you can if sign language doesn't work. Buses run only once a day but we will leave you our trusty old car to get out and about (it is 18 miles to the town of Vratsa with everything there).
The area has some amazing beauty, from valleys, mountains, waterfalls, caves, 40 mins to the Danube and Belogradchik (look it up).
