We are a retired couple who love to travel 2 or 3 times a year. We are going on vacation for at the end of March for approximately 5 weeks and are looking for someone to take care of our kitty. She is very loving, low maintenance, but is a bit of a shedder, lol. We have a lovely, large bright and comfortable self contained suite in our home. We are located in an upper scale neighbourhood, with walking trails right at our doorstep. If you are a skier, we are 20 minutes from the beautiful Silver Star Ski Resort. Our home is located about 8 minutes to shopping, so you would need a car. Vernon is a city with a population of approx It has good shopping and all the amenities, but if you are looking to shop in a larger centre, Kelowna is 45 minutes away and offers virtually everything. If you are here during winter you would need to be able to clear the driveway and walks, and generally watch over our home. During summer we may ask you to mow our very tiny lawn. The self contained suite is very new and is well equipped, with tv and internet, full bathroom, tub/shower, large bedroom, kitchen with Island, and high quality appliances, including washer and dryer. We ask that you be a non smoker.
