We are looking for a reliable, non-smoking couple or single to spend time in our comfortable house and care for our home-loving whippet. We live in a beautiful part of Newcastle, 10 mins drive from the beaches, shops and plenty of good cafes. Only 45 mins to the Hunter Valley and a bit more to lots of scenic spots up and down the coast.
We ask that you keep the house clean (no other maintenance should be necessary) and the lawn mowed (probably only twice during this winter period), but mostly spend some time with a dog that really loves to be around people. He enjoys a daily walk and some games in the back yard, but otherwise spends most of the day lounging around (ie asleep on the lounge). He sleeps outside at night except in storms and is otherwise fairly low-maintenance.
