I am looking someone to care for my house and cat. I am located in the Northeast Kingdom, Vermont. The area is beautiful in the summer with many opportunities to experience the outdoors. The Green Mountains and White Mountains are both nearby with lots of trails to hike. You will also want to check out Lake Willoughby which has some amazing views. The is also a mountain biking network nearby. There are numerous breweries and bars in the area with beer that is difficult to find elsewhere.
The house needs are to mow the lawn, care for a small flower garden, feed the wild birds, and keep the house clean. I have a small fire pit, grill, and Adirondack chairs to experience the great view. I also have all of the typical kitchen, laundry, and cleaning appliances. The master bedroom has a king sized soft memory foam bed and a master bath with a standing shower. There is a guest bedroom upstairs with a queen pillow top. There is one empty bedroom and a full bathroom upstairs as well. The basement has a garage, a storage area, and a home gym. The home gym has a treadmill, weight machine, rower, and bands. The living area has an AppleTV, computer, bluray player, and WiiU. It is a Logitech Harmony setup, so there is a slight learning curve to operate it and the app is needed to troubleshoot any problems. The house also has high speed internet, Sonos speakers that are Alexa enabled in the bedroom and kitchen, and a SimpliSafe security system.
The needs for my cat Bentley is to feed him wet food twice a day and occasionally treats. The litter box will also need to be cleaned a couple times a week. He loves to cuddle and sometimes likes to play with a laser pointer or feather wand. He may also need is nails trimmed at some point.
Bentley has some abandonment issues after his first owner gave him up for adoption. When I adopted him, he wasn't cleaning himself or eating regularly. He was also beginning to lose some fur near his tail. Hopefully staying in his own space with someone to spend time with will prevent these things from happening again.
