We are looking for a sitter who doesn’t: smoke, use drugs, only drinks socially and doesn’t have a dog.
We want a caring, cat loving sitter to feed our gentle, loving, gray cat, Scooter, twice a day and let him in and out of the house while we are on vacation from Sept. 24, 2018 through Oct. 15, 2018. We live in a nicely landscaped home in the southwest hills of Eugene surrounded by lots of trees. We would also like the sitter, when needed, to use our moisture meter and water the plants on our deck and very few other flowers and trees that aren’t on our deck but aren’t watered by our automatic underground sprinkler system also water some indoor plants. Our sprinkler system waters the main yard every other day. The lawn will not need to be mowed while we are gone.
Our house is a well maintained, modern, 3 bdrm, 2 bath home, with attached garage, located on a wide street in a quiet neighborhood, located about 2 miles from downtown and the Univ. of Oregon. We have a 48” HD cable tv, wifi with a router, a home-based , air conditioning and a nice deck. Eugene has a lot of greenery, some mountains and close access to a lot of things to see and do in surrounding western Oregon. There are many walking, running, hiking and bike riding trails in Eugene, some are along the beautiful Willamette River. About 1 hour to the west and you are on the ocean with great views, many sandy beaches, parks, whale watching and things to see and do. In 1 ½ hours, to the north, you can do many things in Portland and can go up the scenic Columbia River gorge from there and see snow covered Mt. Hood and visit the magnificent lodge. In less than ½ hour you can go east from Eugene and be in the wonderful Cascade Mountains which have great fishing, hiking trails and waterfalls. Fantastic Crater Lake National Park is only about a 3 hour drive southeast of Eugene.
