I am looking for a housesitter to take care of my house and animals from 5th November to 11th December I live in a small, quaint country town called Rosewood, a little over an hour west of Brisbane on the electric rail line. The house is an old, highset Queenslander on approximately a quarter of an acre. It is centrally situated in the town, within 10 minutes walk of the supermarket and 15 minutes from the station. I have one goat, two cats, 17 ducks and four hens. They are all very easy to look after, but need to be attended to in the morning and late afternoon or early evening. Rosewood is a quiet little town. The great thing about it is that you really are in the country, but have the convenience of the city of Ipswich, only 15 minutes away, and Brisbane, which is about an hour from Ipswich by train. The area around Rosewood is fascinating too, with historic pubs, wineries and antique shops to be visited. The house is quite small, so probably would suit a single or couple rather than a family.
