I'm going on vacation Dec 6-21 and would love to have someone look after my cat Chester who is very low maintenance. I live in the Commercial drive area in a home. The house is still undergoing some final renovations but is generally done (i.e. some interior painting needed etc.)
My Vancouver home is 10 minutes from the centre of the city by car or transit in a residential neighbourhood of trees and gardens. It has a well-equipped kitchen with adjoining breakfast and dining areas overlooking a large deck and garden with old fruit trees and roses. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms.
Located in Vancouver’s Latin and multicultural neighbourhood, it is multicultural and gay-friendly. 3 blocks away on Commercial Drive you will find fruit and vegetable markets, coffee shops, tapas bars and restaurants of all nationalities - Italian, Cuban, Central American, Japanese. Two blocks away is a low cost community centre with library, ice rink, weight rooms, track free tennis courts, swimming pool and sauna.
The house is 10 minutes from Granville Island and downtown shopping, nightclubs, theatres and galleries, 15 minutes from Stanley Park. Ferries are a 40-minute drive away to take you to the Gulf Islands or Victoria.
