Between 1997 and 2004 we ran our B&B without any substantial vacations.
Two years ago we bought a sailboat and now spend the winter months in the Gulf Islands, Victoria and Vancouver.
For the last two years we have found friends to look after the B&B's three rooms but this year we are running into difficulty.
The time period would be from approximately late September or mid October 2006 until approximately mid April 2007.
All utilities, telephone, cable and internet would be paid by us. We offer a management fee based on B&B income as well.
We also own a second home next door to our own. Usually we rent it to mature students during the winter months but this year no students have been accepted yet. If there are students they provide us with post dated rent cheques that have to be deposited at the beginning of each month. If there are no students then the rooms could be rented as B&B for additional income.
There are a few other odd jobs to attend to periodically.
Would prefer retired persons or part time workers so rooms could be kept up during the day.
We have no pets and do not accept pets from B&B guests so it would be best if you do not have a pet but this might be negotiable.
