Need someone to live in our house, keep clean, bring in mail and newspaper, put out trash and recycling weekly, cut the grass if it grows (depends on rain), and generally be available to deal with any emergencies. We do not have any pets. We know the neighbors and have family in the area, so the house sitter would have local backup in case of emergency. Our main goal is to have our house be lived-in during the time we are gone, for security concerns. We are in central Austin, near University of Texas, downtown, plenty of shopping, greenbelt, park with a pool nearby, public library nearby. Shady older neighborhood. Bus transportation nearby (3 blocks). Our house is smallish (about 1600 sq. ft story, not fancy but very comfortable. Central air conditioning, attic fan, wireless internet. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, study. No smoking.
