Our home is situated facing beautiful Whale Beach in the Northern beaches of Sydney, with expansive ocean and district views. It is in a private and quiet area surrounded by trees, a large garden and wildlife.
We share our home with 2 happy cats and 1 large dog and 1 medium-sized dog (Ridgeback and Ridgeback X). Our animals are very much part of the family and whose welfare are definately our main concern when we travel.
You are reliable, responsible, can follow instructions, and are calm, active and caring sitters who genuinely love and are comfortable with dogs and cats. You do not have to walk our dogs, as we have professional walkers who will walk them each day, however you are people who will genuinely care for them and chill with them! You would ideally be someone who works from home or doesn't do long hours away from the house as one of us works from home and our animals are used to humans being around.
We would hope that you are someone who would enjoy what this home has to offer especially in summertime and relax here! This is an ideal place to work, we have high speed wifi and you can have a sneaky surf at lunchtime :)
Our area is stunning all through the year, and you can enjoy cafes, the beach and wonderful natural areas, all within walking distance.
We would request that only experienced sitters apply and those who have looked after a number of animals previously.
The house/property is an unusual one (registered with Heritage Trust), with very steep driveways, stairs, rocks and only one bedroom and so, it is NOT suitable for children of any age. You will also need to be fit, agile and able to climb stairs to enjoy the property.
We have learnt from past experience, that we will also need to meet you in person in advance prior to the sit or at least zoom with you so you can see the house and meet the animals. This is so you can see the place, meet our animals and for you to judge whether you'd be comfortable and happy here for the sit!
Whilst there is totally private parking, we do have a steep driveway that prohibits campervans or caravans of any kind. The nearest streets are also very narrow so not suitable for parking large vehicles.
One last note: Although we love other animals, we do have cats, so it is not an option to bring your own pet with you.
Thank you and we look forward to meeting with you!
