Celebrate Christmas in a beautiful country home with a pool table and big screen TV!

Our dates can be flexible if the house sitter wishes to arrive slightly early or stay a bit longer.  

We would like to find a responsible adult (or couple) to care for our cat.

Charlie is our baby of four years who is full of energy and loves to play.

We are ten minutes from Mohawk Race Track, and a 20 minute drive to downtown Guelph.  

The house sitter would have to have his/her own transportation as our home is in the country and is not near public transit.  Some housesitters in our home have opted to not have a car, but to use a grocery delivery service and just stay home and enjoy the peacefulness of our country location.

Responsibilities include minding the house, bringing in the mail, and keeping in touch with us via text or .

We would prefer to exchange a free room for house sitting services.

Caroline and Brad are a down to earth, hard working, friendly couple who are enjoying the snowbird lifestyle. They have four cats, two of which they took with them, leaving us with Goo (an older gentleman ginger cat) and Charlie ( a handsome black total love bug of a cat). 
We were looking for a country sit so this house provided the peace and quiet we were looking for and the hot tub on the back deck was used every day! They were kind enough to let us store our car at their house for three weeks before the sit and then pick us up at the airport when we returned. Communication has always been excellent.

Thank you to Caroline, Brad, Ron and the three lovely cats for making my stay very enjoyable.  It rates in the top three of my sits, and I've been doing this for a decade, so that says plenty.

A nice, quiet rural location, and plenty of near empty roads to ride a bicycle on.
