I am travelling on business and leave at the crack of dawn on Friday, October 26 returning Tuesday, October 30 in the late evening. Any interest in a long weekend in Chicago?
We live in Andersonville, a lively north side Chicago neighborhood filled with restaurants, shops, bookstore and parks. Our loft is a large one bedroom with an office space and a yard/park behind the building. Our main interest is to have someone look after a capable but elderly cat and bring in the mail. Other than that this is a quiet building filled with professionals and artists and our apartment is a great space to read, write, think and/or work. We are a trained librarian and an ex-high school English Teacher, so you have plenty of books to browse on the premises. We are 2 blocks from the Metra train that goes downtown or up to Wisconsin. We are a couple blocks in every direction to a bus line and a minute walk to the train that goes downtown. We are walking distance to restaurants, winebars, shops, coffee shops, etc.
