Hello,
We are looking for a reliable, quiet, non-smoking, cat-loving house/cat sitter for repeat sitting opportunities during 2013, and hopefully beyond. The first upcoming trip is from March 12th through April 3rd, Other planned trips, but without firm dates, would be mid-summer for approximately 3 week and 4-5 weeks in the fall - most likely the month of November into early December. There could potentially be another 1-2 week trip sometime during the year.
We have a lovely, two bedroom, flat in the Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco with gorgeous views of the city, easy access to public transportation (or easy parking available if you have a car) and with great restaurants, shops and more within walking distance. The condo development has lots of amenities like a pool, work out room, Jacuzzi and sauna, tennis courts, etc. Our flat is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator - so if stairs are a problem this might not work for you.
We have only one cat, a beautiful, year and a half year old Tonkinese. We admit she is spoiled, but, she is very low maintenance in terms of food, litter, etc. – just needs play and cuddle time. She is an indoor cat only.
We are a middle aged couple and both worked in the hectic, high tech world for years and decided about 5 years ago to slow down a bit and find more balance in our lives. So currently we both work as part time consultants and travel about 3 months (minimum) per year. We have been using house/cat sitters through Housecarers for over 5 years and have had only excellent experiences.
Our preference would be for a person currently living in the northern CA area - making it easier for repeat sitting. In addition, because of our limited working hours, we are home with our cat often - so, an ideal house/cat sitter would work (at least often) from home - this is not a show-stopper but a 'nice to have'.
The Housecarers house/pet sitters we have used in the past have embraced the Housecarers philosophy that the exchange for a great place to stay for a while is compensation enough -- and expect neither payment for house-sitting nor charges by the homeowners for any fees; our preference would be to maintain this philosophy.
Your Housecarers profile looks very interesting and we are hoping that our needs and your house/pet sitting desires might be a match. If this is the case, please let us know. You can respond to this or you can call Cinda at .
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
