I decided to take a break from paradise and go see some friends north of the border for two or three weeks this spring. Ideally I would leave here mid to near the end of March and return three weeks later (probably about the second week of April) but I am flexible on the timing if I can find the right Sitter
I have a 2 kitties that require nothing but food and water and scooping the litter box once a day. You should know that they will probably insist on sleeping with you, but they don't cuddle up...They just curl up at the foot of the bed. You will only be aware of them if you decide to sleep upstairs in the main house. There are two houses on the property both of them one bedroom, but the upstairs one is slightly bigger and has a better kitchen if you like to cook. That will be 100% up to you.
Also I have 3 dogs. There is the 25 year old sweet deaf and Almost blind mutt named Motcho. Yes 25!! So.... sadly at his age there is a chance that he won't be here by the end of March. Motcho likes at least one short walk a day. Luckily, there's a Park right across the street. He is obviously very very slow on the leash and you just need patience. If you don't want to walk him it's fine but you will have to check the sidewalk around the back of the Casita and be sure to scoop up the poop. Then there is Panfilo. He is 13 and has three legs --but only the two on the right side work. And here's the coolest part… He centers those legs under his body and walks (more of a hop). And he loves his walks. He can't go very far or very long, but long enough to do his business and sniff the air and say hello to Friends. He can hop up the stairs but has trouble going down the stairs and sometimes needs to be carried. You will have the choice of staying in the main house, which is upstairs or the Casita, which is poolside. The dogs will tend to seep where you are. But not in the bedroom. Panfilo only barks when the doorbell rings or a bird lands in his food bowl. Motcho rarely barks, probably because he is deaf. There is a third dog… A little brain damaged Chihuahua - but I am probably going to take her with me
Our property includes our beautiful smallish home which is on the second floor and has one bedroom, two baths and a fully equipped kitchen. Deck in front over looks the village and deck in back overlooks the gardens and a large salt water pool. On the other side of the pool is our guest casita. It has a small living room, bedroom, kitchen and bath with a wide relaxing veranda. Beds in both units are king sized and all rooms have screens and air conditioning. And we have solar, so you can feel comfortable using as much air-conditioning as you like. San Pancho is a safe village and our property is very secure.
March and April have perfect weather. Rain is rare and days are warm and sunny and evenings are pleasant. I walk almost everywhere. The time to walk from my house to the beach is about 7 to 10 minutes. We have a beautiful beach with good surfing. San Pancho has excellent and diverse restaurants of every knd and price range.
