Hello--my husband, 1 son, 2 dogs, 3 cats and I live in Flower Mound, TX. We live in a lovely home with a pool and theater room in the subdivision of Bridlewood, about 25 minutes from the DFW airport. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. We are a short drive to grocery stores, movie theaters and restaurants.
We have need of house/pet sitters from approx. June 12-August 6, 2024. We are looking for conscientious housesitters who can water our plants inside/outside, frequently deadhead flowers in beds and pots in the backyard, add water to the pool, gather the mail, keep our place tidy, and love/play with some/all of our cats as able in their own environment. This year we are bringing our dogs with us, so it will be a cats only household! We have had a lot of success in the past with detail-oriented couples vs. single housesitters! It seems that 2 brains in our situation tend to work better than 1, but we won't fully rule out singular housesitters entirely! We have 3 cats, Tuft, 4 years old, Grayson, 4 years old, and Donut, 7 years old. Tuft is an absolute doll-- VERY social, loving and enjoys playing ball or chasing a dangler. Grayson came to us traumatized, and though he continues to make progress, he is skittish around people he does not know, so you may never get to actually touch him! Donut is very social, but particular in how he likes to be touched/interacted with. He is also the drama creator as he wants to dominate both Tuft and Grayson, but Grayson absolutely won't tolerate it! As a result, we keep Grayson and Donut separated via a schedule, and I won't lie, it complicates things a bit in the daily running of the house! Housesitters who are familiar with cats and "how they can be" would be ideal. These are our sweetest fur-babies and they are soooooo important to us!! True animal lovers ONLY need apply.
