We live five miles east of Flagstaff, Arizona in a house with three dogs, one indoor cat, and one outdoor cat. The animals need feeding twice a day. All the animals are very sweet. The dogs love walks, the longer they better, but can live without if you do not get out that day. We will need the plants watered once a week, but besides that the house is pretty low maintenance.
We are looking for someone to look after the house and animals from December 10th to January 10th. If the dates do not exactly lineup we can find someone for a couple of days at either end, but we would like someone who would enjoy the animals and house while we are gone. We are non-smokers, and would like you to be as well.
The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Walnut Canyon, the Painted Desert, Sunset Crater, Wapatki, Meteor Crater, and the Petrified Forest are all day trips from here. A five minute walk gives access to the Coconino National Forest for short or long walks or cross country skiing. The house in the winter is cozy, with a wood fire stove to come back to after an afternoon of skiing or touring.
