I live in a two story home with a walk out basement. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms. The living room, dining room and kitchen all have a lovely view of the Shuswap Lake. The downstairs bedroom and family room have a nice view of the lake as well.
There are wonderful hiking trails. In the summer, the area has many visitors who love to swim in the lake and sightsee all around the area.
I have 6 wonderful rescue cats. one is a Calico and she is 19 years old and doing really well. One is 14 years old and he is also a tabby. He was left behind by the previous owner of the house and I took him in. One Black cat, who is 10 years old, she was feral at one point in time and is so happy to have a forever home. She had babies and I kept two Siamese cats, brother and sister who are 9 years old. The last little rescue cat is a tortoishell and she is 5. She was rescued from dogs trying to tear her apart in the desert around Yuma.
I need people who will stay at my place and give them a lot of love and attention. They are quite spoiled and when they get to know you will follow you around like little puppies, sit on your lap and my youngest loves giving kisses. I think they are very happy to have a good home.
I learned that my friends husband has terminal cancer. I would love to be able to head to Yuma to stay with them for a few days before he passes away and to offer some support to my friend, his wife.
Hope to hear from you.
