Dear House Sitters, Thank you for taking the time to read this message. We have a property in Hillwood which is 25 mins outside of Launceston, northern Tasmania. It is a small village set on the River Tamar with strawberry farms, cheese centres, small shops, picnic areas etc, and a few shops. We live on 2 acres of land with glorious scenery, a stunning house (designed by myself an architect, sorry to sound big headed but I say it laughingly!) with a pool, granny flat, 2 dogs and a great wild life. This position comes with a car and a ride on mower. We are leaving the country for 2 years and looking for the following: Someone with proven recent references and police check. No children the house is not geared up for children (sorry) A scrupriously clean person who is a non smoker No animals (we have enough of our own) All Utility bills, which incorporate water, Logs/electricity... due to the long House sit, we would prefer that utility bills are placed in your name which also includes the telephone. We would prefer someone who isnt working and is there to take care of the dogs. We have relations in our village who would take care of the dogs when you wish to go sight seeing that wouldnt be a problem for short periods. We have an account at the Vets and pet food supplied. We would ask our applicants to hold Australian licences with a committment to remain for this duration please. We would be grateful if you could pass visitors by us first please, we dont have a problem with it at all but it would be nice to be asked! We are an easy going couple but thought it better to be upfront right from the beginning. If you think you would like this opportunity then please contact us through this site.
