Going out of town Friday morning, February 27, and returning Monday afternoon, March 2. We have a 4 bed/2 bath home that would feel confused without a warm human body to take care of it and of our two cats (Jasmine & Aladdin - sister and brother) and one dog, Bell. The cats are fairly easy, though Jasmine can get quite affectionate. They are indoor/outdoor cats, so you'd need to let them in/out every so often. Bell's an odd one. A shelter rescue that is about 85% housebroken. She's a sweetie, but a cunning foodthief, and incredibly affectionate. All easy to care for, including the house. Anyway, easy gig, cool family, peculiar animals, and a bit untidy house. What more could you want? Obviously, all the typical requirements apply, especially the Golden Rule of Housesitting; Treat our pad as if it were going to appear on Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous!
One reference required - professional preferred, but personal accepted.
Lastly, regarding pay, local kennels can be a bit pricey, even if we would only have to admit Bell the dog. So we're looking for someone who could offer a competitive price compared to the best local offering. It's our pets we care most about anyway. And we're also possibly looking for someone we can refer back to again and again when we need you (and can refer you to friends, too!).
