We are situated in beautiful Tasmania, this is a long term house sit in the cooler of Australia's states and this house sitting position commences around mid march
G'day and thank you looking at our advertisement. advertisement. We have a lovely home near the Tamar Valley north of Launceston which is approximately 30 minutes away, on its own block surrounded by the wonders of Tasmanian nature. We are looking for a middle aged couple to take care of our home whilst we are away, but we are surrounded by friends and family for any support that might be needed. The house comprises of 4 bedrooms, a large lounge, a family room, 2 bathrooms and is immaculate. Our bedroom is for ourselves only and a guest is welcome for a few days but prior arrangement only please. This abode is not suitable at all for children I am sorry to say. We are extremely house proud and run a very tight ship and we are looking for a couple of a similar ilk. We have had experiences of both house sitting and having had house sitters before and would like the following please. (a) A Couple, as there is a fair amount of gardening (b) To take pride in the upkeep of the house. (c) We are not looking for people to use the house as a base, and travel, we are looking for people that like to potter around, seeing local sites but ensuring that security at the house is a prerequisite. (d) Must be Australian residents with Australian with Australian documentation as proof please (e) Australian Police Clearance certificates and checkable professional references please (f) No pets or children please (g) Due to the period we are away, utility bills except rates to be paid for by the House Carers. This is standard practice with a long term arrangement. We do not have any pets because we are both busy with our working lives.We have no "veggie Patch" and do not intend to have a "Veggie Patch" either, we love our land just as it is. No garage,we have just built a rumpus room so shed comes later for cars and motor bikes.
