We live in a beach cottage smack bang in the middle of paradise. We are directly across the road from the Coral Sea and only 10 minutes from the tropical hub of Cairns. We require a pet/house sitter to come in on 2nd December 2010 until leaving on Monday 20th December This would suit someone who would like a pre-Christmas holiday in the tropical north.
We have two very spoilt Staffies, chooks, parrots and fish. There are stunning views from our cottage and fabulous fishing and crabbing right on our doorstep. We really require someone very into dogs - as our two have the run of the house and are very much a big part of our family, You may find the dogs cuddle up to you in bed most nights, even though they start out in their own doggie beds.
The yard is easy maintenance, although with such a short stay, you won't have anything to do except feed the animals, collect the eggs and relax. You may need to mow the lawn once or twice, after all, it is the growing season here in the north that time of the year! The salt water in-ground pool is also automatic, with a kreepy, so all you need to do is laze about!
