I need a responsible housesitter to stay in my charming row house in Mt. Airy to take care of my house, plants and cat. The house has 3 bedrooms and baths. There is a lovely deck out back and a front porch. Its on one of the most friendly blocks in this great neighborhood, near to the Wissahickon Creek/Fairmount Park and a 5 minute walk from a regional rail station. My cat is a gentle elder. She is on medication for a chronic urinary tract infection and the sitter will need to give her medication (pills). She is a gentle, loving cat and has never scratched or bitten me when I have administered her medication. The housesitter will need to tend to catcare, which is not labor intensive, but is daily: daily food, water, treats, pills, litter box-- general availability to keeping these things attended to and clean. The neighborhood is one of the most desireable in Philadelphia. Local pleasures include the Wissahickon Creek, food Coop, local restaurants (an Indian restaurant half a block away), shops, video rentals, gym, religious congregations (one block from Jewish community center/synagogue), walking distance of Catholic, Methodist churches; Quaker meetings, muslim communities not far.
