Hello there! I am moving with my parents to help them with their new living facilities. I need someone who could take care of my own house while I am with them. Since there is no certain time frame there, I need someone who will house sit for me probably around two to three months.
We have a comfortable and well-maintained 1960s three-bedroom ranch home situated between Baltimore and Washington. The third bedroom is used as a den, but can host a non-picky sleeper on the futon or in a sleeping bag. The guest bedroom has a full sized bed. The master bedroom currently has a hospital bed in it, but it can be pushed to the side and a bed brought up from the basement if desired. There's central heat and air conditioning and wireless broadband Internet access. Our back yard is surrounded by trees and bushes, offering quiet and privacy.
We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood conveniently located for anyone wanting to visit Baltimore or Washington. We're one mile from Baltimore Washington International Airport, the Light Rail line which runs into Baltimore City, and the BWI Amtrak station, with train service to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, and the entire East Coast.
Colonial Annapolis is 20 miles away, and day trips can take you to the beaches of the Eastern Shore, the mountains of the Appalachians, and the rolling hills of Amish country. Civil War buffs can visit sites of the whole history from Harper's Ferry to Gettysburg. Baltimore offers the Inner Harbor, the National Aquarium, the B&O Railroad museum, Ravens football, and Orioles baseball. Washington waits with the national monuments, the museums of the Smithsonian, the pandas of the National Zoo, and great restaurants of every international cuisine. We hope you can stay long enough to take it all in!
The house is very low-maintenance with no houseplants or pets. Please let us know if you have any questions.
