I am looking for a reliable person to live in my apartment and care for my two cats while I am away this summer (May 20-August 17).
I live in a one-bedroom apartment in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park (just west of the city). It's a safe area, and near public transportation--downtown Chicago is about half an hour away. Downtown Oak Park is about a mile and a half away. There are grocery stores even closer.
My cats are 7 and 9 years old, and in excellent health. All they need is food/water, clean litter boxes, and lots of love.
While I do not have cable/satellite TV, I do have DSL internet (with secure Wi-fi). Parking is tight in Oak Park (on-street is prohibited), but I have a private spot a couple blocks away, suitable for a small car--I'd be willing to let you rent my car for a small fee if you have a clean driving record (if you have your own, my car can go elsewhere).
If you'd like to live in Frank Lloyd Wright's hometown for a few months this summer, please contact me. I can't afford to pay you anything, but neither would I charge you anything, unless you rent my car or run up the utilities way above normal.
