I'm a 27 year-old American studying here in Berlin, and I'm looking for someone to take care of my dog when my girlfriend and I fly to the US for the holidays. We live in a spacious 750 square foot apartment, which is just a five minute walk from the subway station. The public transportation here is excellent, and you should have no problem getting anywhere you want to go in the city.
We have a very friendly and well-trained dog, who looks something like a golden retriever with long black hair. Our apartment is on the 5th floor (that would be the 4th floor for you europeans), there is no elevator, and the dog is about 65 pounds, so you should be in decent health. As I said, he is very well behaved and walks well on the leash.
We'll be leaving for the US on December 23rd, and it'd be best if you could arrive on the 22nd so that we can show you around, introduce you to the dog, and you can get used to the apartment and the area. My girlfriend will be getting back on January 2nd.
If you're interested, send me and , and I can send you some pics of the dog/apartment and answer any questions you might have.
