We are looking for a house and cat sitter for 10 days in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We depart our house at 5 pm on Saturday June 17th and return Tuesday June 27th late afternoon. The house sitter would need to be here by 4 pm at the latest on the 17th so we can show you the house and cat care. You can arrange your schedule to leave anytime on the 27th after feeding the cats that morning.
Santa Fe is a beautiful, historical, State Capitol. Museums, Art Galleries, shops and many fine restauants are contained in this small community. There is plenty to do and see in town and the surrounding area.
Our house is located in Eldorado on an acre of land south of Santa Fe in a quiet and semi-secluded neighborhood. Walking and bike trails are right out the door. Eldorado has a grocery store, hardware store, very good restaurants, shops and the basic amminities. Our house is 8 miles off I 25 to the St. Francis exit for downtown Santa Fe.
The housesitting duties will mostly be just feeding the cats canned food two times a day. They always have dryfood and a water fountain, that will need maintaining. We have a cat door that leads to an enclosed "Catio." They can only go out to the Catio because of the coyotes. The cats, Juneau and Banjo, are 9 years old, low maintenence requiring food, water, cat box cleaning and attention. They are very personable, and like play and petting. Some watering of outdoor plants would also be required.
If this sounds like a house sitting adventure you would be interested in, please contact me.
