We require someone to live in our house while we're away in May. We have a pool, dog, gardens in a quiet Cairns suburb. We feel it's safer to have someone in the house than leave it empty and the dog is happier at home than in a kennel. She needs two feeds a day and she thinks a daily walk of 15 minutes or so is a bonus! We have secure fencing and no rear neighbours. Bus stop is just around the corner. Local attractions include: several parks, one at the rear of the property, some with mountain streams, picnic areas and children's playgrounds; plenty of walking and cycling paths to explore; local IGA, bottleshop, vet, tennis court within walking distance. Take a short drive to explore the local attractions, e.g. Crystal Cascades, Barron Gorge, Stony Creek, Lake Placid, Skyrail, Tjapukai and northern beaches.
