We live in a third floor apartment in an independent senior living community in Maple Grove, Minnesota (suburb of Minneapolis) with our two cats, Milo and Bailey (photos attached). We need a pet sitter for our two cats. They are young, between 3-4 years old and in good health. No medication is required for either animal. They are friendly and strictly indoors.
Our apartment is approximately 1300 SF with two bedrooms (both with Tempurpedic queens) and two baths (photos attached). We have a fully equipped kitchen for meal preparation and a washer and dryer. Sitter(s) must be non-smoking (non-smoking facility) with no pets traveling with them and have their own transportation. Parking is available. Our apartment has high speed internet, WiFi and Direct TV. Sitter(s) would be expected to not spend any overnights away from our apartment. Day trips are acceptable as both cats have individual feeders which recognize only their microchip so they can be supplied food for any day trips. Sitter(s) must be animal lovers.
Maple Grove is northwest of Minneapolis. You can drive to the city in approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. Maple Grove has the following businesses: Cub Grocery, Costco, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target and numerous restaurants. There is a shopping area with numerous small stores. A Lifetime Fitness is across the street from our apartment. Numerous walking and biking trails are in the area.
You will need to arrive on Wednesday, Sptember 4th, by evening. This will allow you to spend time with Milo and Bailey while we are present and get any questions answered. We will depart around noon on Sptember 5th and return in the evening of September 19th. Your departure would be the morning of September 20th. We will reserve a guest room at our facility at our expense for the nights September 4th and September 19th.
