I am looking for a person or couple to take care of my home and cats this coming December 9 - 31, 2024 The cats are both 9 years old and indoor-only, but can go in the back yard with supervision. They are shy at first, but warm up to strangers quickly. They require a daily feeding, fresh drinking water, and litter scoop. I would want the house sitter to stay here for the duration of the posted dates.
The house is a small Oakland Craftsman bungalow, 1 br/1ba and about 680 square feet. There is fiber WiFi, a detached garage for bike parking, a driveway for off-street car parking, laundry, a well-equipped kitchen, and a sunny patio and garden. Oakland's Temescal commercial district is a 15-minute walk from the house. The MacArthur BART station is 0.9 miles away and the AC Transit F and 88 lines stop a couple blocks away. There are numerous car and bike shares throughout the area.
