If you’ve always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon here is your opportunity. My home is 50miles from the south entrance of the canyon. I live 8 mile north of the little tourist town of Williams, home of the Grand Canyon Railroad and Bearizona, a wild life drive through park.
You would be caring for my 3 cats: Jessie. Spookyand Stash. Their care involves dailly scooping of the litter boxes, checking that there is plenty of food and water and petting when and if they show themselves. I also feed a feral cat, Showball, when he shows up at the back door.
I have a lovely view looking South and West from my deck. I love where I live because of the view, a comfortable home and great neighbors. Flagstaff, home of Northern Arizona University, is 38mi east. It offers a variety of restraunts, entertainment and museums.
The weather in May is generally sunny with mild days and cool nights. Snow is always a possibility, but usually rare this time of year. .
My home is at an elevation of nearly 7000ft. I live on an unmaitained dirt road, so it's a bit rocky, but manageable. I do recommend an all wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle if it snows.
I also haul water and always make sure the cistern if full when I leave.
I am departing early on May 6th and returning most likely on May 14 or 15.. I will be available by cell while I am gone. (At least I hope so!)
Please ask any questions you may have, and I will answer as best as I am able. Thank you in advance for your response.
