Never seen the Grand Canyon, now's the time. You could stay in a comfortable home just 50mi from the South Rim entrance. Not only could you visit the Grand Canyon, but you could enjoy the experience and fun of driving through "Bearizona", a wild life park featuring bears(ergo the name), white bison and brown bison, a jaguar, wolves and many other wild life.
If that sounds interesting and/or inviting, I am seeking an animal loving sitter(s) for a sweetheart of a dog and 3 cats from beginning February 28 through March 17, 2018 while I go on a mission trip to Ethiopia.
My home is, as stated above is 50 mi from the Grand Canyon's South Entrance and 8 mi north of the small town of Williams, home of the Grand Canyon Railroad
My home has a lovely view looking South and West. I love where I live because of the view, a comfortable home and great neighbors. Flagstaff, home of Northern Arizona University, is 38mi east. It offers a variety restraunts, entertainment and museums.
The weather in March can be mild and even warm, but snow and cold are always a possibility and there is always wind of some degree. My home is at an elevation of nearly 7000ft. I do live on an unmaintained dirt road, so an AWD or 4WD vehicle is advised.
I also haul water and always make sure the cistern if full when I leave.
Please ask any questions you may have, and I will answer as best I am able. Pictures of my home and the kids are posted. I am also willing to to anyone who is interested. WiFi is available, but with limited data. I use an antenna for TV so, channels are limited, but have lots of DVDs. I look forward to hearing from all those-it's beautiful country!
