We're looking for a single person or mature couple to look after our house and two friendly cats while we're away - and the fish, but they require minimal attention. At the risk of sounding paranoid, we are not interested in people who would bring visitors to the house.
The house is on the edge of Titirangi and Glen Eden, a few steps away from bus stops to town and about 15 minutes walk from Glen Eden train station, with connections to central Auckland every 25 minutes.
Two dairies and a few take away shops only 5 minutes' walk. Titirangi village up the hill - less than 2 minutes by car. From there it's just 10 minutes' walk to the local beach.
Our cats need to be fed twice a day, and there is not cat flap so they need to be let out and back in. We are looking for someone who loves cats and is prepared to spend time with them. One is deaf, needs no special care but they both need to be reined in for the night. There is a fish tank with three fish that would need feeding once or twice a day.
The lawns are cared for, so just a couple of plants in pots to water.
