We are looking for a house and pet sitter from the middle of September until the second week in October. The dogs need a walk once a day, but Tam gets tired too, although playing with a ball and Abby's squeaky toys outside, is also a very good idea...!. The hens need to be fed morning and night and let out into their run. There is also a fish pond, with "unseeable" fish, but we have no mosquitos, so I know they are there...they need feeding every second day, or so. We have cleaners who come in each week and a gardemer who comes in once a week, so looking after the house and garden is not so difficult, maybe some watering if there is a hot spell. Tam has athritis and so she may need some medication or a visit to the vet for acupuncture. We live close to a bus route and have a number of cafes,a chemist and a medical centre in easy walking distance of the house. I also walk to a small shopping centre where there is a supermarket, butcher, bakery and green grocer and Burnside Village, with all its shops, is just down Greenhill Road. We have a number of parks in the area - Hazelwood Park would be the biggest. Oh, and I feed the magpies...it's sinful but I do...! We have both our children and their families living near us, so you would have help if you needed to call on them. We are going away and it is so important for us to know that Abby and Tam and the hens are being looked after and are happy.
