We need someone to take care of our two cats while we are out of town for 1 week this summer. Normally, we just leave them home alone, and have someone stop in to feed them and give them water daily, but they just get so lonely being alone all day that we decided to try for a housesitter instead. One of our cats has to take a pill by mouth once daily, so we would need someone who is comfortable with that. She is pretty easy to deal with, and if you're experienced in giving pills to cats, then she will be no trouble. Otherwise, as the cats are indoor only, we would need the housesitter to feed/water them twice daily, scoop the litter boxes as needed, and bring in our mail daily. Our house is in Seattle, conveniently located on a couple bus lines that both serve downtown Seattle, we are within walking distance of Green Lake, and easy access to Ballard, Greenwood, Wallingford and Fremont. The Woodland Park Zoo is also just a nice and easy walk away. We live in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood with fantastic restaurants and bars within a few blocks, and a locally-owned neighborhood grocery store just two blocks away.
