Looking for a dependable, neat and mature housesitter(s) who will be around a lot to care for our home, yard and 2 adored cats while we are traveling. Our home is 4 miles from happening downtown Austin with easy access to everything. It is a vibrant city with always so much to do. We are in a older quiet shady neighborhood with lots of trees, great for walking. There is a park with tennis courts 3 blocks away and a large shopping center, gym, restaurants and grocery within 1 mile. We have a totally private back yard with beautiful in ground pool that will be professionally taken care of, hot tub and outdoor shower.They will need some daily care. Our 2 cats are super sweet, and will need to be fed, boxes cleaned, and paid attention to. They rule the house and back yard (we have a cat fence). Great care must be taken to not allow them out the front door. They are the reason we want a sitter - to love them and protect them. They do not pee on anything or scratch or bite. You can mow yard or pay our man to do it times depending on rain. Yard has sprinkler but some plants require hand watering. Our home is very comfortable, stylish but not pretentious. We have all the amenities - gourmet kitchen, washer/dryer, flat screen HD TV's,wireless internet, gas grill, alarm system, etc. Our home is one story and has no carpet - hardwoods and tile. You will stay in the guest room which has a queen bed,an HD TV and a closet and dresser will be empty for you. We do not allow smoking inside or outside. No overnight guests or parties. No drugs or guns, really. Nothing weird.We have a handyman if any maintenance issues arise. We will want messages to assure us all is well and our close by brother will call or come by occasionally to make sure you are doing well. Sorry, no pets or kids.You will need your own car/bike/taxi, or walk to bus station mile away. We will leave local paper delivery on for your convenience, and ask you to sort the mail and advise us if certain items arrive.It could be a lot of fun as there is a lot going on in Austin in September, or just a really relaxing month.
