Our 6-year-old Shepard would prefer to go to town with you but she can be left for up to 5 hours. She is cooperative and expects to play a few times each day. She has to be on leash when around small dogs in public. She shouldn't be left alone outdoors for more than 5-10 minutes to prevent her wandering off. One of the 3 cats lives in the separate studio, the other 2 in the house. The studio needs a fire built in the woodstove on days when the weather is too cold. In April the studio will probably not require heating to prevent the pipes from freezing. Additionally there are houseplants which require watering.
The house is easy, comfortable, private and beautiful, looking out to the forested slopes but getting plenty of sunshine. Modest stipend offered to cover travel to town 11 miles away and back. No television or cell reception. High speed internet but no wi-fi. Phone within USA and Canada included.
Please note that the location is not as indicated on the map; look instead along Hwy 64 between the 2 markers shown on the map. It is about half way between Taos and Angel Fire.
