Sitters required from 10th September to 11 October We live in a house overlooking the Tarn Valley in the Midi Pyrenees, nr Albi, The house is in a rural part of France and a car is essential. A little french would also be useful
We have an old dog called Holly who is a bit deaf and cannot see very well, but just needs letting out and in when she asks, and of course needs feeding!!! No dog walking required unless you want to! Holly is perfectly happy left for several hours at a time so that gives our sitters a chance to do the 'touristy bits!!'
Our house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sitting room, 2 dining rooms a modern kitchen. Terrace and garden overlooking the Tarn Valley. Albi our nearest big town is a World Heritage town and is only 28kms away. The area is beautiful with lots of things to see and do and the garden and terrace are peaceful and reasonably secluded.
Our neighbours are lovely, though discreet, they are always there if we need them for anything. We have used house sitters once before and it was a great success, left the house in their capable hands, Holly was happy and there was dinner waiting for us when we got back!!!
We would also ask that you "be there" for my mum, who lives 25kms away, is completely self sufficient with home helps going in 3 times a week. It would be an Emergency Only response.
No other work required, unless you want to do a bit of gardening!!
