That's how Forbes magazine described Charleston, which is about 20 minutes down the highway. Another 15 minutes and you're on the beach. It's a charming historic city with beautiful architecture, great restaurants, art and history museums, and all a tourist could want.
Summerville is a historic town with a small town ambience and big town shopping. Our ranch house backs up to woods and is a haven for those who appreciate art and antiques fortable furniture, satellite TV, Bose radio/CD player, WiFi and high speed internet access make our home cozy and modern. A screened and glassed porch is the perfect place to read and/or nap.
Two small (12 lbs.)friendly dogs (a five year old Manchester/dachshund mix and a Basenji mix) come and go at will through the pet doors into the fenced back yard. Both only require daily feeding and they would appreciate being walked. Both dogs may demand a lap to sit on. The happily go into their crates each evening about 9. Otis, our very beautiful ragdoll indoor cat, and a new kitten complete the household.
Other than pet care, we simply expect our house to be as clean and tidy when we return as it was when we left. House plants will appreciate some water.
