We live in a gated community in the suburbs of Quito. Our duplex overlooks the valley and mountains. We have a large yard where our dogs play, but they sleep inside. The duplex is a modern design with a huge window (entire wall) which overlooks the valley. The dogs are fed twice a day and the Pomeranian prefers to stay inside but has to go out to the bathroom. we have quite a few houseplants that have to be watered as well. our house is perfect if you have a car and you are looking for a quiet place with a great view.
