Looking for a responsible house sitter, preferably a single female, to watch the fort, walk two dogs, one cat, and keep my plants alive during the last days July and first week of August. Our flights are not yet set in stone, so you will need to have wiggle room but our ideal dates are .
I would ideally like to find somebody who doesn't have to travel far to get here as I would like to meet you first. I also often need pet sits year-round, on weekends and during times I'm not teaching. I'm a college English professor and have a lot of time off :)
You would be walking the two super-friendly Keeshond siblings Arlo and Lola three times a day, feeding Kaia, a sweet tuxedo cat, and keeping my plants alive.
My cousin who lives here with me will also be gone most of the time, o the apartment will essentially be yours; it's a 4 bedroom duplex, in the West Village, one block from Hudson River Park in the heart of Greenwich Village. We live on the fourth floor in a low rise, post-war building without an elevator, so you must be in good shape and not discouraged by the idea of going up and down several times a day.
This is an exchange of apartment for services. Non smokers only and bonded applicants preferred. I would need to meet and interview interested interested candidates.
