I am looking for a house/pet sitter for approximately 3 weeks next February. I will be firming my travel plans by .
I have a cat and dog who look forward to meeting you. Buddy is an 18lb,14 year old Aussie Terrrier and would love to walk with you several times a day. He spends much of the day in the back yard watching squirrels. He also enjoys the dog park which is nearby. He loves people and wants to please. He is a funny dog and will make you laugh.
Charlie is an affectionate and talkative tabby and may cuddle up with you at night if you let him. He loves to have his head scratched and likes to play with a light toy or a string or cord. He is outdoors during the day and often visits his friends in the next block to nap on their chairs or patrol their back yard. He is usually home by 3 - 4PM and then is in for the night.
Boulder is a relatively smallish city and so nothing is too far away. I live in South Boulder conviniently located near a bus station to get to Denver and the airport. Downtown and Pearl street are less than 10 min away.
My 1600sq ' house is in a quiet residential neighborhood and has recently been remodeled with a new kitchen, updated bathrooms and new wood floors.
Within walking distance is a park with a pond, a library, grocery store, and several resturants with Italian, Mexican, and Asian food.
Hiking and biking opportunies are abundant.
I have lived in Boulder for over 10 years and enjoy sharing my house with people. I provide a profesionally cleaned house for you and any information you will need about the house and commuity. You are my guest.
I take COVID very seriously, as does the Boulder and most of Colorado. I wear a mask and social distance whenever i go out. I rarely get together with friends unless we can be outside.
What I ask from you:
I require a police check, at least three references for house sitting that I can contact, and a signed agreement.
Since masks are reguired in Boulder, I ask that you adhere to this. Taking a mask with you when walking Buddy is also helpful as you may want to stop and talk to a neighbor. Many people in the neighborhood know me and my pets.
