We live in the most beautiful part of the world, right at the top of the Kuranda Range, in a beautiful pole home, surrounded by rainforest, with visits from padimelons with joeys and cheeky cockutoos who come get kranky if we are too slow with the sunflower seeds! The property is enclosed with automatic gates and therefore very private. The veranda is gated so completely secure. Kuranda Village is a huge tourist attraction for people coming to Cairns, and it is right on our doorstep, lovely cafes, a supermarket and no end of stalls. From Kuranda there are numerous places to go, where the scenery is just wonderful. We have three girls who need to be looked after, Dusty (cattle dog) and a complete girl, she doesn't do too much in the way of exercise, but will catch her ball for a time then has a rest. Brandi (bitza), she is getting on in years, sleeps heaps, loves a ball game and a bit timid. Then there is The Bunj - she is completely unique. There is absolutely no recognised breed for the Bunj. From our house a trip down the Kuranda Range to Cairns and the beaches is about half an hour, and there also Port Douglas to visit.
