We live in Bellingham, Washington State. Our house has a beautiful water view and a good size yard with a vegetable garden. We have eagles nesting right behind our house and we enjoy watching them fly around and hunt for their prey while sitting on our porch.

Life is pretty quiet around here. We are about a 15 mins drive away from the big box stores and a shopping mall.

We have 2 cats, Carmelita and Manny ( They are strictly indoor cats, but are allowed in the outside catio). The "job" would be to make this your home while we are gone. Give lots of TLC to the cats, get the mail, maintain the house and enjoy yourself. We have bikes and kayaks available for you to use. We are leaving the 14th of July and are returning the 18th of August. This is a Non Smoker/ Drug Free Home.

My five weeks petsitting Carmelita and Manny was most enjoyable!  While everywhere else in the country temperatures soared, I couldn't ask for better weather outside Bellingham!

Hanna's modest but very comfortable home sits across the road and facing Lummi Bay, one of the many inlets of northern Washington.  I sat on the couch, playing with the kitties and watched the Whatcom Chief Ferry traverse to and from Lummi Island.  Most relaxing! 

Manny and Carmelita was delightful to care for and play with. Hanna and I kept in touch via WhatsApp daily and inspite of a couple of "challenges", I thoroughly enjoyed my summer stay!
