I have a sweet little house on a big lot in Old Irving Park, Chicago. It was built in 1900, and at some point in the 1950's, it was remodeled, and I happen to think the combination is charming. The house has the usual amenities, central heating, washer and dryer, and dishwasher, wireless Internet and a Roku player for the TV. It's a beautiful old neighborhood, close to buses and the Blue Line El train, as well as two Metra train stations.
The two dogs are mutts, one Staffordshire Terrier and Dachshund, maybe or Corgi - read short with a big head. The other, also Staffie and possibly Jack Russel - who knows.
Joe, the smaller one is around 25 pounds, Barney, the bigger is 35 pounds or so.
The cats are getting on, but still doing most things that cats do.
I've been offered a teaching job in Italy, from January through March. I would like to take the full three months, but I could also do either the first or second half, if I'm not able to find someone to watch over the menagerie for the whole semester.
Thanks,
Ned (Edward)
