We live in a small town about 2 hours' drive from Cape Town and 20 minutes' drive from well known Arniston. We are 35km from the southern most point of Africa, Cape L'Agulhas. It is a farming community. Although small, the town has fine shops and a few good restaurants/coffee shops. It also boasts an excellent shipwreck museum. There are also small wine cellars in the area where wine tasting can be done, especially sauvignon blanc. We have WiFi and Satellite television. However, it remains a small African town so a potential sitter should be able to keep him/herself busy. We require a mature, experienced nonsmoking person/couple to walk the dogs twice daily and feed them and the cat. The animals are used to being loved and would expect that from you too. The house is situated against a small mountain with foot paths ideal for walking the dogs. Because of its situation, the house offers lovely views. It is a normal house with a barbeque area, fireplace and a wide stoep (veranda). Because the house sits at the edge of the town - and this is Africa - maybe a couple or a male would be preferable.
