Our home is in the small city of Fircrest, adjacent to Tacoma, Washington, 5 miles from Puget Sound and the Narrows Bridge. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, with lovingly tended homes and yards, lush with Northwest trees, shrubs and perennials. We are 30 minutes from downtown Seattle, 10 minutes from the quaint town of Gig Harbor, a short ferry ride to Vashon Island, and an hour away from the Cascade Mountains and Hurricane ridge – both, opportunities for fall, winter and early Spring hiking and seasonal sports. Tacoma offers a growing number of fine restaurants with views of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier, and others tucked into unique neighborhoods with their own urban attractions. We are also home to the renowned Glass Museum and Tacoma Art Museum, and the newest addition, the LeMay Car Museum. Duties and Description of property: House and cat sitting. Our cat Apollo, 12 year old female has a very gentle disposition. Maintain house interior for comfortable living. House is multiple level (simple flight between each) ;1 entry level living with fireplace, dining with small fireplace/kitchen., 2 up - three bedrooms (1 as study) and 2 baths (1 master), 3 down - utility and garage, 4 down - family room with electric fireplace and adjoining shop/recreation/furnace room. Our car will be stored in our garage (two car) and will require moving outside to run to maintain the battery. Large south facing deck with hot tub. There are three other seating areas on the property and a small greenhouse. Minimal exterior house and garden maintenance. 30 minute drive to Seattle, an hour's drive to two mountain ranges for hiking and winter sports.
