We live in a small (5,500+) beach front town. We are 1 hr 15 mins to New Orleans and the same to Mobile. Our house is on a quiet street about 1,000' to HWY 90 and the beaches of the MS sound, and we are within less than 1/2 mile walk to downtown and our great coffee shop cum book store, restaurants and shops. We have 2 bedrooms baths. We have 1 inside/outside cat, Ms Kat, 16 years old (a rescued cat from Hurricane Katrina, ergo, the name). We are avid birdwatchers and have various feeders that need to be brought in at night (raccoons) and put out in the morning. We have an irrigation system for most of the plants with the exception of 3 on the patio and 2 in the front where the sprinkler system doesn't reach. We have NO grass so no mowing. We have an outside fountain which will need to be cleaned every 2-3 weeks depending on what's falling from the trees, and we will clean it before we leave. We also have an inside water fountain for Kat that needs to be cleaned and filter replaced about every 2-3 weeks (I'd clean it before you come.) I have a cleaning lady who comes in once a week and a yard lady, also once a week. No smoking inside the house. We have wifi, cable, 4 TV's, Sonos, washer/dryer, dishwasher. I can give you names of people who have Kat sat for us from Housecarers/American House Sitters if you would like to check us out. We will be leaving early June 3rd so would need you to arrive on the 2nd so we can show you the “ropes.” We will be returning late on the evening of the 12th at 10:45 pm. If you could stay that evening and pick us up at the airport, we would appreciate it. COVID19 poicy for MS as of this posting is that our restaurants are open with 75% occupancy, tables of no more thatn 10 and they must be 6' apart. Most, not all, of our restaurants have outside dining. Our cute coffee shop/book store has outside seating. Masks are mandatory throughout the state when inside No masks when outside. We have been totally vaccinated for over 2 months.
