I have a small 1 bedroom home just outside the village of Montefalcone Nel Sannio, in the region of Molise. I have dogs that live outdoors on the property, although I let them sleep inside by the fire on the cold winter nights. Otherwise, they have various shelters available to them, but they mostly choose to stay by the front door. The house is modern with washer and dryer, heating, and dishwasher. The animals just need to be fed daily, and the house lived in. The village is small but in a great location for exploring the region of Molise and parts of Puglia or Abruzzo. There are 1500 residents that live in the village center and sourrounding countryside. There are three restaurants, a pub, pizzaria, and bars in the village. Please inquire with any questions. The area is very peaceful but rich with history and tradition.
I have a sitter for the first three months of my absence, and she is going to secure that you are settled in before she departs. I had intended to have one couple for the whole 6 months but getting a Visa for such a stay is not very easy.
Please consider this experience in a small Italian village where you will truly feel like time stood still.
