Ideal house sitter: A couple that really loves taking care and working with animals. Are ok with things that occur on farmland like insects, snakes etc
It will help if the couple is a bit handy, for example sometimes their is powers surges that causes some electrical problems,or causes the water pumps to stop. In Bali it can sometimes take a few days to get the plumber or electrician to come.
Sitters who can look after a place like their own. No party animals.
The villa has a beautiful swimming pool, gardens with separate housing areas on the property. (Owners house, Gladak, Guest House and Studio)
The sitters will stay in the Studio with an open equipped kitchen that can be used, and a laudry is also available that can be used.
The property is shared by another house sitting couple living in the guest house. All of the expected duties listed is shared by the two couples.
Due to the size and layout the housing are completely private, and a distance apart.

The sitters will need to hire a motorbike ($60 a month)
Main priorities are the animals and overseeing maintenance. Animals are: 3 cats, 3 dogs, about 30 chickens & 1 pond with fish.
All duties are shared by the house sitters.
The chicken house is cleaned by staff, and their is a gardener.
Buy chicken food on the scooter. 30 KG every 3 weeks or smaller amouns more often.
Dogs Cook food and feed twice a day (cooked food lasts about 3 days) Walk dogs twice a day, bandage one dogs foot (RT) before walk.
Cats Feed twice a day and bring them in the main house and close in at night. The cats are used to this routine and comes inside the house when it starts getting dark for their food.
It is expected that animals are well taken care of. Vet runs when necessary. (A vet is on call for emergencies)
Buying food for the animals Cats and dogs – Usually every few months, cooked food like beans and carrots more often.
Some food/supplies is delivered – the couple on duty will have to be home to organise and accept the delivery the same for vet visits. (not very often)
There are two staff members that maintain the property. Just make sure the property stays in good condition, changing light bulbs etc.
The owners of the house visit the property about 3 times a year for a month or so.
A 300m gravel road is used to reach the property from a main road. Scooter/Motorcycle riding is a must, and have at least a year experience with riding a scooter.
Located in between Bali’s best beaches. The closest beach is about 5 km away which has crystal clear blue water.
Cost of living Long term Visas per person: Social Visa that last for 6 months with monthly extensions ($85+$70 per month through an agent) Short term: two months period per person $35-$70 for visa on arrival & extension.
