Searching for a dog-loving person to watch over my house and my 2 lady (fixed) dogs from mid August to mid September 2016 Take them out for walks at least twice a day. Keep them happy and fed and watered. Look after my house and keep it tidy. No smoking or parties.
I will have just moved to the beautiful colonial city of Merida Yucatan. I will be travelling for about one month and would be much happier if my two pooches Milly and Patch would be well cared for. I would rather have them at home as they are having to aclimatize to a new home and environment
The house is in a quiet private, guarded area,house in front of a beautiful park with Tabachin and Flamboyan trees, the house is on the outskirts of Merida, 3 bedroom 2 baths airconditioned, and a big yard for the doggies to mess around in. Right next to the periferico or main ring-road around Merida. In the north of the city going toward the port and beach of Progreso.
There is SO much to see and do, the closest mayan archaeological site Dzibilchaltun is about fifteen minutes away . The old city center of Merida about fifteen to eighteen minutes.
For anyone interested, I would say you get to stay free in my house, but in MOP it is vital you get your own transport, so that you can move around and see the sights, see the Gulf, and Caribbean. Swim in delicious cenotes, and visit LOADS of Mayan archaelogical ruins. I don't have any problem with you travelling, I just need you to be sure the dogs are well taken care of and that you are around to care for them and feed them in the morning and tuck them up in their boxes or cushions at night. Also that the house looks "lived-in" and is kept "aired". Merida is tropical so important to keep the mold at bay.
If you want to go away for longer... the pooches go with you ....to a dog friendly cabin /hotel area...like Isla Holbox
