This house sit begins April 13th for 3-4 weeks. The exact return date we are keeping open at this point. So we need someone who is OK with this flexibility. The system on this forces me to put a date of return so I put May 4th but this is only an estimate. It should be within a few days of this though.
Charlie is our 12 year old Basset Hound and needs looking after while we are away. Everybody loves Charlie and he is super friendly to all, but he is a strong dog and will test whoever walks him. Charlie needs lots of love and to be walked most days. There are 2 small parks nearby.
Depending on the weather the lawn and flowers may need watered outside and there are a few plants inside as well. Also we ask that Charlie's poop be picked up in the lawn and disposed of in the trash which comes every Monday morning.
The lawn may need to be mowed once maybe twice or not at all. It depends on how soon spring decides to come this year. It is quite small and flat and takes about minutes to mow. I have a cordless electric mower in the garage.
This is a shoeless house so please remove shoes when you enter. The house will be clean for your arrival and we will expect the same for our return. Thanks !!!
Our house is 115 year old victorian two story with 2 bedroom and two bathrooms, fully usable kitchen, cloths washer/dryer and is very comfortable and has quite a bit of character. We have WIFI. There is a large deck area in the back with a hot tub that you can enjoy. There is a large driveway to park your vehicle off the street.
The home is located in the city of Denver, about 5 miles east of the capital building and civic center downtown and is just off the main road of Colfax. Easy access to all the city has to offer.
The bus stop is within a block of my house and a brewery about 3 blocks away. There are super markets a few blocks away also.
Finally, this is a trade for free stay in Denver for taking care of Charlie and the house. There is no monetary compensation being offered. The home is in central Denver and close to mass transit if you will not be bringing a car.
